Jun-yong Park ‘Iron Turtle’ and Dong-hyun Kim ‘Stungun’ Lee

Jun Yong “Iron Turtle” Park (32, Korean Top Team) has won four straight UFC fights. It’s the longest winning streak by a Korean fighter in the UFC.

Park competed in a middleweight bout against Albert Durayev (RUS) at UFC Fight Night on Nov. 16 at UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, and earned a submission victory via rear-naked choke at 4:45 of the second round.

With the win, Park extended his winning streak to four fights with three consecutive finishes, tying him with Dong Hyun “Stun Gun” Kim for the longest winning streak by a Korean fighter in the UFC.

With the win, Junyong Park will likely move into the top 15 of the middleweight rankings. Park made his UFC debut in 2019 and is now 7-2 overall. In his mixed martial arts career, he is 17-5.

After trading strikes in the first round, Park used his physical advantage to push his opponent harder in the second round. After dropping Durayev to the canvas with a combination punch, Park immediately took the back position and began pounding away. He continued to pound away, forcing a tap out with a rear-naked choke.

After celebrating his victory with a lively dance, Park said in an interview, “The only answer is training. “My main characteristic is sincerity, and I worked really hard on my striking and takedown defense, so I got a good picture,” he said. “I want to drink soju in Sundatguk, but it costs 10,000 won a bottle here, so I’ll wait and drink it in Korea,” he added. 메이저사이트
