‘Lee Dong-joon’s injury leave-leave’ Jeonbuk won the Jeju game with high concentration and running non-stop

I didn’t lose my concentration and ran nonstop.

Jeonbuk Hyundai won 2-0 in an away game against Jeju United in the 8th round of Hana 1 Q K League 1 2023 held at Jeju World Cup Stadium on the 23rd.

With this victory, Jeonbuk recorded 3 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses and 10 points, jumping to 7th place.

Ahead of the game, Jeonbuk players took part in the game with a determined determination instead of a smile. Because there was no place to step back due to the last Suwon FC defeat. Head coach Kim Sang-sik also said, “There is no place to look back and no place to step back,” before the game. I tried to instill confidence. I think I need to win to find my confidence.”

Jeonbuk, which moved cautiously at the beginning of the game, tried to score the opening goal. Jeju strengthened their offense through player substitution, but Jeonbuk played as a starting member. It was difficult to play normally because of the wind.

However, Jeonbuk did not lose concentration and fiercely scored the opening goal. In the situation of a free kick obtained by an opponent’s foul, defender Jeong Tae-wook quickly connected it to the goal. The concentration of the Jeju defense team was poor and they could not properly check Song Min-gyu. On the other hand, Song Min-gyu took over Jung Tae-wook’s pass and beat two Jeju defenders to score a goal.   스포츠토토

A variable occurred in the second half. Five minutes into the second half, starting striker Lee Dong-jun grabbed his right shin and collapsed, leaving the ground. In the 30th minute of the second half, Hafa Silva was sent off due to an accumulation of warnings. To make matters worse, in the 38th minute of the second half, coach Kim Sang-shik protested to the referee and received a red card and left the field.

Jeonbuk barely endured the waves of Jeju’s offensive in an outnumbered and cluttered atmosphere. It was the veterans in the team who changed the flow. In the 44th minute of the second half, Han Kyo-Won, who replaced Lee Dong-Jun, intercepted Jeju’s ball at the forefront and sprinted to the goalpost.

And Jeonbuk’s veterans, such as Choi Chul-soon and Hong Jeong-ho, blocked Jeju’s wave of attacks with their players. One player was sent off right before the end of the game in Jeju Island, but until then, Jeonbuk blocked the opponent’s attack with a physical defense.
