Kim Young-hee, a silver medalist in women’s basketball at the 1984 Los Angeles (LA) Olympics, passed away on the 31st of last month after struggling with an illness.
The deceased was 2m 5cm tall and made a name for herself as the tallest center in women’s basketball during her active career. After attending Dongju Girls’ Middle School and Soongui Girls’ High School, he played as a player in the Korean cosmetics team.
