T1 defeated DK 3-1 in Game 2 of the first round of the 2023 League of Legends Champions Korea Summer playoffs at Roll Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul on Monday to advance to the second round alongside Game 1 winner Hanwha Life eSports.
After the conclusion of the first round, KT, the regular season champions, announced that they will face T1 in the second round, setting up a carrier battle once again. The two teams will face off in a best-of-five best-of-three series starting at 5 p.m. on the 10th. Hanwha Life will then face second-place Genji Esports on the 11th.
The playoffs, which will switch to a double-elimination format from the second round, will see a winner-take-all match between the winners of the second round to determine the finalists, followed by a loser-take-all match between the winners of the second round and the losers of the winner-take-all match to determine which teams will join the final on the 20th in Daejeon.
