KT’s top laner Kim “Gi-in” Ki-in has found a fix for his team.
KT won 2-0 against OK Savings Bank Brion in the second round of the League of Legends Champions Korea Summer 2023 at the Grand Seoul LCK Arena in Jongno-gu, Seoul on Monday. On the day, Kim Ki-in was a bit stuck in the laning phase, but he managed to recover with his one-hit focus and continued his winning streak. 메이저사이트추천
“In both the first and second sets, I started off badly and had to settle the game with one hit,” Kim explained in the post-match press room, “I’m glad I was able to engage well with each hit.”
Kim went on to explain more about the match. “In game one, we lost a lot of early objectives and the whole team became impatient. In the second game, I got ganged and their jax was big and tipped the balance, so we got rushed, and that’s something we need to work on.”
One of Kim’s strengths is his champion width. When asked if his wide range of champions will be utilized in patch 13.13, which starts next week, Kim said, “I don’t think the champions will change too much after the patch,” adding, “I think there will only be one or two changes from the current champions.” He also talked about Top LeBlanc, which recently became a hot topic when Kim ‘Kanna’ Chang-dong utilized it, saying, “I don’t think I’ll know until the patch version changes, but it’s good for ranged champions with good mobility to harass Jax. It was fun to watch.”
During the broadcast interview, Kim “Aiming” Haram also gave Kim “Gum Fairy” Ki-in a funny nickname. In response, Kim Ki-in said, “I don’t like all the nicknames my teammates give me,” and vowed to take revenge, saying, “I’m going to give myself Haram’s nickname.”
“Actually, we’re doing well right now, but there’s a lot of season left and a lot of matches left, so we have to stay focused. It would be great to win during the season, but there will always be losses. I’ll take care of it then,” he concluded the interview.
